THE ROSE這首歌是很久的一首英文歌，有許多的歌手翻唱過，

想想自己第一次聽到這首歌的時候是在看（薔薇之戀），那個時候是動力火車翻唱，

但我還是比較喜歡Westlife所唱，覺得有總說不出來的滄桑感和配樂的震憾力。

今天在聽英文歌時偶然聽到這首歌後仔細去看看他的歌詞，

發現到這首歌的歌詞是那麼正面又讓人省思，

來說說一個小故事(轉自簿公英9月專刊)

在一個教師甄選上面試時，主考官問了面試人員:「你為何想當老師」

那位面試人員回答:

「以前我立志想當一位偉人，中學時發現偉人太過遙遠，所以想說當偉人的妻子，

但是又發現當偉人的妻子機會過於渺茫，所以改變主意，當偉人的老師」

這個世界永遠都是不公平的，

有些人很擅長唸書，

有些人很擅長畫畫，

有些人天生就是個音樂家，

我們有我們自己所擅長的事情。

今天或許在走向你的目標時路途中發生了變化，

但是我們隨時可以更改路線，沒有人說一定要怎麼做才是對的，

人生的道路沒有對錯，只有自己是否可以承受那個選擇。
